Because when she wrote PANDORA. She expressed exactly what it was like to be a woman who longed for her freedom. I will love that book forever.

Her writing style is truly one of a kind. The ways she writes simply amazes me.

Queen of the Damned was the first real, “adult” level novel that I read as an elementary school kid. She is what turned me on to writing in general, though I have strayed her her books many times over the years. All in all, the reason I want to meet Anne Rice is to congratulate her on a life well lived, as well as an interesting imagination. I do really love her as a writer though.

My parents met her at a book signing, while buying an autographed book for ME. They expected to dislike her, and were, instead, quite charmed. From their shared political views to her kindness to my mom (who was ill at the time), they had nothing but nice things to say about her. I hope to meet her one day.

I was a boring, friendless, red headed, weirdo, book worm…Anne Rice changed all that when I was 14 and read her books…then I became a weirdo Goth kid, book worm and had lots of weirdo friends just like me!!YAY for Anne rice, who changed alot of peoples lives I think! Oh, and I wrote my college English term paper about her, and got an A! Thanx Anne!
