Harrison Ford (placeholder)

I grew up watching Indiana Jones. Dr. Henry “Indiana” Jones, also known as Indy, is a fictional professor, archaeologist, and adventurer. He’s my first love, I love everything about him, the leather jacket, the bag, the whip, the revolver and the indy boots. I cant wait to see the 4th Indiana Jones.

He was my first crush so…IF I could do anything with him it would probably be an afternoon of fly-fishing. He’d probably tell me my cast sucks…I would agree and laugh, then we’d have lunch. I’m sure we wouldn’t talk much so it would be the perfect day. ha-ha.

I admire Harrison Ford for qualities that are more subdued. His quiet demeanor, witty intelligence and dry sense of humor. Yeah, I like those qualities in a guy!

Nice guy, met him at a pub when he was shooting a movie in my city a few years back.

I’ve always adored Harrison Ford, all the way back to Witness, that’s why I am thoroughly ashamed of myself. Here’s why:-

A couple of years ago I had to meet a friend at Van Nuys Airport in California. I was early and went to the bar and ordered a drink. There was a guy at the bar who commented on my English accent when I ordered my coke. We laughed and joked and I explained I was from Nottingham in England and was waiting for my friend who was now late. He then said he had to go, but hoped my friend turns up and told the bar tender to put another coke on his tab, and before I could protest, he’d gone. I said to the bar tender that chap was very nice and looked somewhat familiar, and he replied. “Well, ma’m, that was Harrison Ford”. I was dumbstruck. I couldn’t believe I didn’t recognise him, and as I walked out the door, I saw this small plane take off with him piloting.

He really was a lovely guy…even if I didn’t know who he was!

He’s one of my obsessions! :)

There will never be a better Jack Ryan. What were they thinking by casting Ben Affleck for Sum of All Fears? It was a disgrace to the book.

Well, mostly because I love his voice :P And I saw his wax-figure at Madame Tussauds!
