Cara Dillon is an Irish folk singer from Dungiven, County Derry and was born in 1975. An All-Ireland Champion singer, she has released albums as part of the groups Oige and Equation, contributed to “A Woman’s Heart : A Decade On” and has – currently – released 3 solo albums. She has worked with (amongst others) Mike Oldfield, De Danaan and Paul Brady and has collected awards hand over fist.
Cara’s brother-in-law, Seth Lakeman, was nominated for the 2005 Mercury Music Award for his album “Kitty Jay”.
