How I met Thomas Fuchs
At Canada on Rails (2006 in Vancouver) we sat & chatted for a while.
Thomas Fuchs, sometimes known as madrobby, is a software architect living in the beautiful city of Vienna, Austria, hacking on web apps for nearly 10 years now. Disappointed by current web application frameworks making no sense to him, he set out on a search for the perfect underpinnings of his web sites and web apps. He think he’s found it, in Ruby on Rails, where he’s now one of on the core development team, but he might be best known for screating script.aculo.us, a slick Web 2.0 javascript library. Thomas also contributed the Web 2.0 chapter of the Agile Web Development with Rails book.
To invite him to a coffee or a beer to say thank you for supporting me learning Ruby and Ruby on Rails! He was the only person who could explain me things in a way i can understand
