Ruki is the lead vocal singer of the band The GazettE, which is a Japanese ‘visual kei’ rock band. The band was formed in March 2002 by himself, along with band members Uruha, Reita, Aoi, and Yune. However, Yune eventually decided to leave in 2003 the band and was in turn replaced with Kai.
