Why I admire Vivian Hsu
How could I not admire a woman who has explained a 3-step path to achieving cuteness? Vivian is multilingual, she knows Mandarin, Japanese, and English. She made an album in Korean after taking a speed-course. I’m not sure, but I’ve heard she also knows Cantonese. This impresses me greatly! And of course, she’s one of the most beautiful (and cute) people I’ve ever seen.
Unlike American popstars, she worked really hard for her success. She didn’t get her mom to move to Hollywood so she could go to auditions, and her parents didn’t go into debt getting her voice lessons. She grew up poor and risked everything she had to get where she is, even after a rocky career start with a couple notorious nude photobooks. She just wanted to buy her mother a house so they could never be kicked out by a landlord again. And she did!
Vivian is beautiful, intelligent, brave, and noble. My hero!
