Teen dance-pop singer Mandy Moore was born in Nashua, NH on April 10, 1984 but raised in Orlando, FL; determined to be an entertainer from the age of six onward, she was later known throughout the Orlando area as the “National Anthem Girl” for her regular performances of “The Star Spangled Banner” at local sporting events.
Breaking into the recording industry via voiceovers and commercials, in 1999 Moore became the latest Orlando teen to sign a record contract after landing at Sony; her debut album So Real appeared late that year.The album spawned a hit with “Candy, a remix of which also appeared on her 2000 release I Wanna Be With You. A self-titled sophomore effort appeared in summer 2001.
I have always looked up to Mandy, as she is only 5 years older than I am. I believe she is extremely sweet and down to earth. Her singing and acting is amazing, and she is not willing to compromise herself, or her image in order to become more “famous”. I for one, am glad that she didn’t turn into a Britney or Lindsay.
She is my favorite actress and singer!! I am her number one fan!anyways she is not anerexic like all the other actresses. But she is still very skinny, she has good posture. She is to nice to be mean, in interviews she is so nice and she keeps it simple, she dresses up but not trying to impress the world, she has a nice wardrobe and she is no crazy like britney spears!!! That is why i really want to meet her!!!

She’s so real, she’s not like a bunch of girls in hollywood: fake & basically anorexic, what you see is what you get, and she really seems like a great fun loving girl!

I think she’ll be one of those celebs that you meet and have good expectations of and you wouldn’t be disappointed by.
also i had a dream about her once in which I punched a grizzly bear in the nose while walking in the woods and ended up marrying her.. lol..
