A story about Jeanne Wooster
Jeanne Wooster had a twin sister. Her name was Stacey and they were as close as two sisters could be. When they were younger, say 14 years old, Stacey was into the guitar. She was taking lessons and Jeanne had a thing going with the piano. When Jeanne was 3 years old, her mother took her to The Curtis Institute in Philadelphia because she could play Bach’s Italian Concerto by ear. They told her mother to give Jeanne one year of basic lessons and then bring her back. “We will make her brilliant. She is a genius” they said. But MOTHER never did take her back. Instead, years later, her guitar pickin’ twin discovered horses and gave her guitar to Jeanne. And now she is brilliant on the guitar. Her twin was the genius.
