Melissa Ferrick (placeholder)

I got to see her at a recent show in San Francisco, at the 12 Galaxies. It was the first time I’d seen her live, and it was amazing. I got to be fairly close to the stage, since it was a smaller venue, and so got to see her facial expressions and how passionate she was. Bought my first-ever concert t-shirt there too!

At one of her shows at the Stone Pony a few years ago. It wasn’t anything terribly formal, kind of a meet-and-greet the fans after the show kind of thing, but it was good enough for me.

She’s kind of softspoken, or at least so it seemed. That was unexpected, given her rock-starness on stage.
