Why I want to meet Damien Rice
he wrote “the blower’s daughter”.
i think this reason is enough…
Irish singer/songwriter creating intense melodic music underpinned by emotionally acute lyrics
he’s pretty laid back, i was at this concert of his once, convinced these 5 blond fans, that i had his named tattooed on my butt, after they took photos with me and refusing to show them, he showed up and he wouldn’t do pictures, i waited there with my cousin for 2 hours to meet him and she forgot what she wanted to ask him, but he was cool, i shook his hand, lousy grip.
i didnt get to watch him at the festival for long but what i saw was amazing i was somewhere at the back but had a good view. i got shivers i loved it.
Every song is pure genius. Every single one. He’s an amazing artist and he’s not given enough credit or hype. There are so many singers and songwriters out there that are talked about on a daily basis who don’t have half the talent that Damien Rice has. I’ve seen him in concert only once but I can honestly say it is the best show I have ever seen.
His first two albums have been pure magic. I would want to have a pint with him in an Irish pub and have a chat about how he forms his lyrics. Merlin has got nothing on this guy.
Wonderful lyrics, wonderful variety, wonderful voice. Just wonderful.
Favorite song: Eskimo.

I love Damien Rice. His lyrics speak to me. They touch my heart. He is absolutely amazing. The Blower’s Daughter is my favorite. I can relate to those lyrics in so many ways. I love his voice.
He has a wonderful voice, he is really cute, his lyrics are deep, poetic, sad and full of meaning.”The Professor”, “Blower’s Daughter” or “Cannonball” are some of my favourite.
