Vanessa Carlton’s music makes me feel at home. My friends and family make fun of me for loving her so much, because I’m usually into metal… Heavy stuff like that. But when I’m suffering, her music makes me feel like everything is going to work out someday. It makes me feel safe.
She lets her soul flow through her, and she isn’t afraid of what other people think of her. She’s famous, but i’ve never seen her in the tabloids.
I saw Vanessa at Club Soda in Montreal. I was right up front. She performed beautifully, both musical and voice, and she needed no backup. In-between songs, she made me feel as if we were all her friends. She explained how she came up with each song beforehand. Best concert of my life. :)
I saw her first Harmonium concert in Toronto at the Mod Club. The songs took some getting used to, but after that I was hooked. When is her dvd coming out?
