Stan Lee (placeholder)

Three words. COMIC BOOK GOD. & his interview thingy in the bonus features of Mosaic DVD was hilarious. He’s the best.

I met him at a signing somewhere in St Paul when I was 12. I had him sign my “Son of Origins”. He was impressed – apparently he really liked the intro he wrote in it and hadn’t seen it very often since. Whenever I go to a signing – like John Romita Jr, or Chris Claremont – I have them sign that book and whoever it is Always makes a comment to the effect that they don’t want to sign above Stan’s name. I think that’s cool!

I met him in at a Mercedes Dealership, He was such a charming man!
I had no idea who he was ( well, I knew who he was – just not so much What he looked like.) He talked with me while he was waiting for his car. He seemed kind of upset with the Valet, Who took a long time to get his car, he said ” I’ve been waiting 10 minutes already, I’m going to go back in there ( the lobby) and wait another five, and my car still won’t be here.” And before he could walk back, 4 – REALLY! 4 people came up to him and asked him for autographs, one guy even gave him a spiderman drawing!

His car finally came and he said
” hopefully your car will be here soon, Nice talking with you.”

HES A COMIC BOOK GENIUS! Call me a geek or not, but hell >_< It’d be damn worth it. Get something signed and its worth ALOT on E-bay.

because I enjoyed some of his internal stories that he decided to share with the world.

I’d like to meet Stan Lee to thoroughly discuss a variety of subjects dealing with comics, culture, and life itself through the eyes of an artist. Comics give hope to readers about everyday events that are tragic and sad. The heroes created add a sense of protection, even though they’re just on paper.

now i wonder why i would want to meet him….. hmmm…

ISNT IT OBVIOUS??? He has created some of the best things that could ever happen to the WORLD of comics…. well… i’ll say it… HE IS GOD….
