He was in Omaha after the BEPs played here. They played on a Sunday night, I met him on a Tuesday night at Bar 415. The odd thing is, Josh One, had played at bar 415 the same night the BEPs had their concert. Josh and Printz are friends from way back.
I was one of the people involved in booking Josh One here, as we are friends. So it was an odd twist of fate that we happened to meet! Ended up taking them out-even though it was boring. Nice guy!
Printz once stayed at my house in Seattle for a few weeks while we recorded some Maktub tunes together. One day on the way to the studio in Ballard from my home in Capitol Hill I asked Printz (we were driving through Fremont) what he thought of Seattle compared to LA. In a candid moment when the words came out of his mouth before he had time to second guess himself, Printz said “I dig it. It feels like I’m camping”. Which is truly what I think Seattle feels like to Printz—slow paced, somewhat boring and yet green enough to be interesting.
