Carl Gustav Jung (July 26, 1875 – June 6, 1961) was a Swiss psychiatrist and founder of Analytical Psychology.
This man was a turning point in the foundation of AA the 12 steps without him telling an alcoholic that without a spiritual experience he would never become sober we would never have the program of AA.
Not to mention the many other things he has contributed.
