I was at a Bikini Kill show at CBGB’s when I was like 17 and I waited after the show and she sat next to me onstage and I got all emotional as I told her thank you for all that she’s done.

I absolutely love Le Tigre (I like Bikini Kill too). I think Kathleen and her band are sending the right message not only to women, but to everyone. I respect them so much. Kathleen is a role model.
