A story about Steve Diet Goedde
Steve is a friend of Mine.
We’ve spent years as friends, beginning in the early 2000’s when I first IMed him, all the way through tons of events we’ve met at including hanging out together a weekend in Vegas.
Born in Saint Louis, Missouri in 1965, Steve Diet Goedde is a self-taught photographer who has made a name for himself by going against the traditional cliches of erotic photography. Though most erotic photographers explore nude landscapes, Goedde prefers to survey the sensual appeal of fetishism. Whilst lovingly documenting such textures as latex, PVC, and leather Goedde manages to remind us that there are indeed people under the clothing. In addition to the high degree of eroticism, a sense of individuality and warmth seep through his portraits and settings. His unique style has been shown in numerous galleries around the world and has been published in many publications. His two books, “The Beauty of Fetish: Volumes I & II” (Edition Stemmle) are regarded as classics in both the erotic arts and in photography fine art circles.

I met Steve for the first time in LA. I was a big fan of his photography. We did a photoshoot together. I have included a picture from the set.
