I have worked through her books Acts of Faith and Until Today, and am now working (very slowly) through One Day My Soul Just Opened Up. These books have helped me to grow and truly start to become “me v.2”. I would just like the chance to meet her briefly and talk for a half hour… to thank her, to get any personal/individual insights she might have to offer, and also because you can never meet too many bright spirits in this world!

I have watched her on Starting Over, Oprah and So want to speak with her. I need her help through this time in my life and she seems to be the one who can help.

Praying to meet her and to be able to talk personally for a bit of time with hopes she can shed light.

Iyanla is a life coach on a reality show (among other things), but her spirit reaches out through that medium to touch many other lives. As she guides these women on their journeys of transformation, I feel her support of mine, for I am on a healing journey of my own. Iyanla inspires and moves me with her wisdom and compassion. Her words encourage me and help me find within me all that it takes to do the hard work. She helps me to know that I can face all that I have endured, and done, and been. She has taught me that responsibility is the antidote to victimhood, and that every experience in our past is raw materials we must own, not discard, in order to create the future we envision. She helps me know that I am worth being committed to this for my own life. Iyanla helps me find my bravery, and I am grateful.
