Why I admire Joan of Arc
I have just always been encouraged by her story. Such faith and trust. Not many have her courage. Man or Woman.

She was a woman – a girl really – who learned to follow & trust her faith – the divine presence within her regardless of where that took her.
The depth of her dedication & faith are inspirational. I am in no way “religious” or have never been catholic. I simply admire & often look to the memory & energy of this admirable woman of faith, substance, courage!
OK here is a gal who could teach young girls today about staying true to your beliefs no matter what people thought of you , to listen to that inner voice , to follow your path ,and stay true to yourself. She was a strong , courageous, fearless leader , a trail blazer , (perhaps that’s not the best words to choose here…) in a time where women most certainly took a back seat to men , she stood tall, held her ground, and vowed to be heard . Whether she was right or not… I am not sure , but none the less , one could still take notes from her page in history… I wonder if she knew today what was going to happen to her, would she still do it all again ? Or choose a different route? (with today’s modern miracle wonder drugs, she may have been prescribed something from her doctor to make those voices go away, and she would never have been known to the outside world after all….makes you wonder doesn’t it….)
