My favorite memory of Tim Curry
Walking him to his plane in New Orleans and having someone come up to him and grab him to make him stop walking. This guy held onto Tim and ask, “Don’t I know you.” Tim shrugged and said, “Hari Krishna to you.” I was stunned to see someone just come up and grap him like that and I asked him if people grabbed him all the time. He said, “No, but that all depends on when I want to be grabbed!” Then he winked at me. Of course I just felt like melting. He is so very sexy.

Why I want to meet Tim Curry
Because the man both fascinates and frightens me. I loved him in Rocky Horror Picture Show, a family classic that I can watch over and over. However, when he put on that blasted clown outfit to play Stephen King’s It, I about died. I hate clowns, but I still love Tim Curry.

I have now met Tim twice. Both times outside the Palace Theatre stage door in London. He was utterly charming both times and extremely gorgeous! He posed for photos and signed autographs and I got to chat with him the first time. The second time no chat because the weather was horrendous. I was surprised he stopped to do the stage door bit seeing as his chauffeur driven Merc was waiting for him. He could have just said ‘sorry no time tonight’ and escaped the weather. But he didn’t …. sigh …. LOL I now have some gorgeous pix of him and me!
How I met Tim Curry
I was living in New York and ushering Broadway shows. The show I ushered was “Me and My Girl”. I always thought, “Wow, Tim Curry would be great in this show!”
When I heard Tim Curry was doing the touring cast, I knew, in my heart of hearts, I would meet him as they rehearse in New York City!
On August 28th, 1987, at the rehearsal studio, I went up there and met Tim Curry after his rehearsal. We were alone together for about twenty minutes or more and chatted, took this photo together and it was lovely!
A year later, September 1988, I saw the show in Washington D.C. and he totally embarrassed me. But that is a story for another time and maybe another site. LOL!
