Adam Duritz (placeholder)

I met Adam on July 11th after a show in Cleveland and he participated in an art project my girlfriend and I have started. Fantastic! He was so sweet and completely everything I could ever imagine him to be.

The security guards had us behind a barricade, a metal wall between us and the band to keep them safe. Adam walked right by, and all of us thought he was walking directly toward his bus but he just went around the barricade to be on the same side of it as us. What a sweet man.

From the first time I heard his voice, I was in a trance. I have spent many years, trials, good times, and bad with his voice. He has helped me through some bad times. Still today, Anna begins is my favorite all time by Adam. I hope to one day meet him and tell him what his music means to me. Until then, I will keep on keeping on. Love ya Adam!!!

Well, he went back to his trailer instead of coming out to see everyone…

He is an amazing songwriter and thanks to my best friend Russ I’ve got to find that out.

Adam is a walking encyclopedia of rock music. He has turned me on to so many great artists – new and old. Not to mention that he’s one of the grooviest rawk stars himself ;) We had a lot of fun back in the old days when Adam hung out at the old AOL board. (Back when Matt was Gimlatron :).

I’m hoping to see Adam this summer..Counting Crows will be touring with the Goo Goo Dolls.

I met him backstage at a show in Omaha (as you know, it’s somewhere in middle America). He was cool and engaging and sincere. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy, made evident by his dealing with the morning show from the worst rated station in town.
