How I met George Herbert Walker Bush
He did a television spot with my elementary class when I was in the third grade. All I remember is that he was late showing up, he seemed to talk forever, and then he shook all of our hands before he left.
A story about George Herbert Walker Bush
I met him when I was a kid. My brothers were both in boy scouts and my dad was the boyscout leader, so when they had the state-wide Boy Scout Jamboree, I was required to go. Well, George Bush (vice-president at the time) was the guest speaker there, and we got to have dinner with him. I don’t remember a whole lot about it, but thought it was kind of neat.

I went to see ‘Cats’ the broadway musical. At intermission I turned around to find George and Barbara Bush sitting behind me, the whole intermission they gave autographs, and I was able to listen to their comments to each other on the play following intermission. They are really nice people, most of their comments were about someone’s beautiful voice.

Back in 1980 at my Dad’s cousin’s home. We discussed which dog start a little dog shuffle. He was very nice and easy to talk to.
