Why I admire Daniel Day-Lewis
He’s a multifaceted, intense and chameleon-like actor. He takes his craft very seriously, which reflects on his superb performances. I really love his work as an incurable womanizer in The Unbearable Lightness of Being.

Known for being very dedicated to researching characters and how they would live and act. For The Last of the Mohicans, he not only underwent rigorous weight training but actually lived in the forest where his character supposedly lived, camped out, hunting and fishing. For his extremes in effort, he has been nicknamed “The British De Niro”.
