Last night (September 16, 2007) I saw her open for Bright Eyes at the Captiol Theater in Olympia, WA.
She is amazingly talented and awesome live, by the way.
After the show, she walked out with husband, baby, and equipment in tow and I said hello and told her how much I enjoyed her show.
She was really sweet and sincere.
I gave her my Texans for Kerry button on voting day ‘04, at Super Happy Funland in Houston.
I’ve idolized her for four years, but never gotten to meet her or see her live. I’ve talked to her over myspace about her little girl :].
I know Kimya’s the kind of woman who you actually MEET..not that you’re just introduced to.
She’s amazing. Her music is amazing. And she had her baby a little while ago…and Panda is amazing!
She rocks.
And we could both write a song about friendship, and poop.
