Her lyrics are meaningful, her voice captures their mood, she’s sort of mysterious.......I think I listen to at least 2 or 3 of her songs every day.

Why I want to meet Suzanne Vega
Suzanne Vega is one of the most unique performers that I enjoy. I listen to Pandora.com a lot where they try to match songs with similar qualities and when I listen to the station I’ve created based on her work there are very few songs that I like to listen to along with hers.
I love her vocal style, the way her music sets a fantastic world for the lyrics to live in and the way her lyrics are thought provoking. Even her fun songs seem to have some element of intrigue, mystery or ambiguity in the lyrics.
If I were to meet her I’d like to find out what the most satisfying part of musical career is. I’d also like to know what she thinks about where she is now and how she’s gotten here. I think she’d be an interesting person to talk to.
