Why I admire Alan Mathison Turing
He developed the Turing Test which was designed to determine whether a computer running artificial intelligence was truly intelligent.
He helped cracked the enigma which of course helped defeat the nazi’s.
Alan Mathison Turing (June 23, 1912 – June 7, 1954) was a British mathematician who broke German codes during World War II. Turing is often considered to be a father of modern computer science. With the Turing Test, he contributed to the debate regarding artificial intelligence: whether it will ever be possible to say that a machine is conscious and can think.
