Why I admire Marvin Lee Meatloaf Aday
His depth of character, self analysis, intelligence & curiosity.
If the A&E biography is correct, the man had a miserable childhood & grew up to be such an amazing human being. I respected him long before Fight Club. Paradise By the Dashboard Light was actually the first dance @ my best friends’ wedding. (The Hobbit & I went with When I’m 64). Just the power of singing Eddie is stupendous. He should have done opera. He did so much for music.
Even my 60+ UK mother-in-law adores his voice.
I’d love having a bottle of wine & a long chat& getting to understand his Philosophy of Living. I think he’d be rivetting.
