A story about Mike Rowe
he could be my grandfather, but i am in love with him! haha
He has done some nasty jobs, but still retains a great sense of humor. He never disrespects the people he works with. If anything, he seems to admire these guys (like we all should).
Mike did an interview with Larry King Live for Dirty Jobs, and Larry was a total prick about the jobs and how nasty they were. Mike was not only respectful about the jobs, he seemed annoyed with Larry King.
He is soooo funny! Alright…did you know that Mike Rowe got his start doing infomercials??? OMG…i have to find the link cause once you see it you will appreciate Mike Rowe even more than you probably already do…
Well Mike you really inspire me I don’t know why, but your pretty fasinating and the people that you work with. I’m sure that Troy really liked it when you cut his hair. HE HAD GORGEOUS HAIR TOO! lol
But that’s ok, your hilarious though and if I happen to see you by any chance in Oregon you should let me give you a hug:)
I want to meet Mike Rowe because we have some things in common. We grew up in the same town at the same time and even attended the same high school. He graduated 5 years before me, but my brother remembers him. Mike was a sophomore when my brother was a senior. We lived about 3 blocks from each other and if we were able to meet, I think we would realize that we have more in common then we think. Mike is a true home town kind of guy. He’s just remarkable. I simply adore him. Hope to meet him soon.
Actually, I am writing as a Christmas wish for my husband. He has been so giving and helpful in assisting me with my mother who has Alzheimer’s. For 5 years now, as my mother has lived with us, he has never complained and has remained caring and supportive.
My husband is a methodical thinker, and will laugh as we watch the show and say, “Mike Rowe is my hero!”
Since he has been so wonderful, it is my wish that my husband could some day meet Mike Rowe, his hero.
Oh – why I want to meet Mike Rowe? Ha!
The show where he was working on the railroad ties and also the episode where he was helping remove a damn from a river to save bass…with a jackhammer! I never saw those shoulders and arms before that episode and have been dreaming about him ever since! (sigh)
Because I am a professional pianist, and I could accompany him on his first CD!
Nah….maybe not….well, as if he has time to do that!
How about…..because I am a pianist and a great cook?
Yeah, that’s it!
Hell, I’d make up any excuse to meet him. :)
