The Wizard of Christchurch (placeholder)

I met him after he had done one of his talks/performances in square at Christchurch in New Zealand. Some of what he had to say was a little abusive (“never hit a woman, just tell her she is fat—it leaves no physical mark but will do far more lasting damage”), but in the end all of it was entertaining in an eccentric sort of way.

I bought his book ‘My Life as a Miracle’ (which he signed for me) and his sort of famous upside down map of the world (which I have on the wall behind me as I type this).
