I have read his books, seen several Nooma videos. I listen to the Mars Hill podcasts. I had the opportunity to attend a church service there in Oct 2007, and he did the message. I got to meet Tom, the audio tech (who was awesome), but Rob was really busy. Still – it was great to see him in person
I have seen every Nooma and listened to his audio book Velvet Elvis. I think that he has a new and exciting way of reaching people and getting them to think about God in new and exciting ways.
I went to his church in Grand Rapids while visiting my in-laws. I felt rather silly, but just wanted to shake his hand. His tour is phenomenal.
