A story about The Spice Girls
They were recording the first LP. Nobody had heard of them, and they were still called “Spice”. I was in the reception of the studio ringing through on the internal phone to speak to one of the engineers. Geri answered and started flirting really heavily on the phone, thinking it was an outside line, so I played along. I could see her through the door, so after a few minutes of this I began to describe to her what she was wearing and she totally freaked out. It was hilarious. Later on we had a good laugh about it and lots of banter. Geri was a very nice girl, full of beans and very friendly. They were around for quite a while, so we’d hang out in the evenings sometimes. They deserved their success, and the timing was fortuitous.

I used to be SCARY SPICE, i even did a show when I was younger and i was Scary Spice and the crowd ate it up!
How I met The Spice Girls
Okay, I’ve really just met Scary Spice, but she didn’t have her own page.
I met her because she was Mimi in RENT a few years ago, which was a pretty bad choice on their part. However, the inner 13-year-olds in my cousin and me freaked out and had to go see the show. We won the lottery for tickets and got to sit in the second row. Then afterwards we got Scary’s autograph and took a picture with her. It was probably one of the most fulfilling days of my life. :D
