Why I admire Plato
He is one of my great teachers. In ‘Republic’, he taught me what is good and not so good about various forms of government.
More importantly, he taught me to question things and not to take – even those that ‘seem’ good – at face value. I venture say he learned this art from his teacher, Socrates, who is another great teacher of mine.
Overall, I am grateful to Plato to have penned his own thoughts and much of what Socrates (would have) said. Thank you Plato!
Why I want to meet Plato
