i have been conducted by holsinger at a music festival. it was probably one of the ….acutally it was the best musical experience i’ve ever had. we played some great pieces (3 were his compositions) and he gave one of the most heartfelt inspirational speeches ever. i can’t even describe what a great musician and person he is.
I met Dr. David Holsinger while I was studying church music at Lee University (2004). He is an associate professor there, teaching conducting and composition and also serving as the director of the wind ensemble at Lee University. He is a brillant composer and is an extremely nice person.
He’s one of the best composers for band out there. I’d love to meet him and even take a lesson from him.
