I LOVE the Goo Goo Dolls, I’ve been to three concerts, all of them were great but my favorite was at an Amphitheater, especially fantastic performance. I was kind of disappointed at the last concert I went to because I came soooooo close to meeting him. But instead of coming and signing autographs for the 15 of us that were left after standing in the rain for an hour and a half just waiting for him to come out, he waved as he walked into his tour bus. I still want to meet him, but my opinion of him is not as high as it used to be. Honestly, I’ve been closer to him during concerts then I got to him after this last one. If there had been a huge crowd I would have understood, but it wouldn’t have killed him, or Robby and Mike for that matter, to take five minutes to see their few devoted fans that actually stuck it out… maybe next time.

i saw johnny last june 25th in concord, california. the goo goo dolls had their summer concert there. it was amazing! it was 10 days after my birthday and i truly could say that going to that concert and seeing johnny perform live and finally hear him sing IRIS live was just amazing! i could not have asked for any other birthday gift! =)

I want to meet him because I love him, truly love him. I’ve been listening to the Goos for almost 12 years now and I never get tired of them. I think Johnny is an amazing, talented person who has stayed real and not let his success go to his head. He’s definitely been through more pain in his life than he deserved. He’s just a sweet, wonderful person and I have to meet him!!!!!!!!!!

i met johnny and the boys in sacramento. i got to shake their hands and give them EACH a hug!! then i got two pics with them! after that i was fortunate enough to be in the first row of the concert that night. it was very cool! i made eye contact with johnny once while he was on stage and as my grin started getting bigger, he started smiling. i also got one of his guitar picks that he used for GALB.!!

I love the Goo Goo Dolls and have for quite some time. No one writes better songs to fit my every mood than he does.

I’ve met him twice. The first time as after their Minneapolis show at the Northrop, and I shook his hand.

The second time as in Des Moines last Wednesday; I won one of their meet and greets through their fan club! I shook his hand again, and I got a picture with the band, standing next to him and Robby.

Well. I don’t thin that I am the especial person who shoul meet Johnny. I’m justa usual one who loves his songs. I belive there are many of them who want’s to meet him but you can’t always have what you want right?! You have to do somethig for it. I’d be really happy if i could see with my own two eyes the man whos songs had moved me in a way I can’t explain. And as embarrassing as it is i have foud a place in my hear for his song just recently. And I really love to see him in Estonia. But there’s the thin I don’t know how to make it happen.

there are very few people that influence me but i have to admit he is one of the few. I think the way he writes his songs is amazing. I dont know many people who appreciate his work her and most havent even heard of the goo goo dolls but i really couldnt care. He inspires me and thats all that really matters. Hope to see the band in Cape Town, South Africa sometime soon, give me a shout if it happens….till then love from the Mother City.

I met John after he performed at my college. If I remember correctly, it was ‘99. He, Robby, and Mike all signed a poster I had brought. Mike and Robby were going from the tour bus to the concert hall when I asked them to sign the poster (they were very nice and were very willing to meet the fans). John came out after the show…a large crowd had gathered around their bus. The security and the crowd posing for photos made it hard to get close, but I managed to lean over some people with my poster – and he signed it. It was fun.
