She did so much for the poor, abandoned people of Calcutta. The sacrifices she made and the courage to stand up for them is/was truly amazing.
I’m just so saddened by the fact that the 10th anniversary of her passing isn’t being/will not be given much attention in the media. Of course, in our hearts she will always be remembered.

I would love to be able to be around her and soak of some of that energy she was always so full of! I would want to ask her how she was so strong through all of the heartache she saw and lived through. And – even though I’m sure she’s heard it a million times – I would want to thank her for being such a marvelous person!
I was on a mission trip in 1995 and had the pleasure of meeting her and getting some time to talk with her in Calcutta. She was humble, funny, and gracious in every way.
