A story about Mother Teresa of Calcutta
Inspiring.
She visited us at St John’s Seminary, Wonersh ?1970?.
Not all of us were impressed, but charisma works like that.
I heard her speak years ago. She was such a tiny little woman, but had such a presence, a holiness. Amazing.
A true “wonder of the world”. What we could all learn from a woman whom has done so much with so little for so many.
shes not alive anymore
but what a blessed soul
if only i was able to follow in a piece of one of her footsteps!
In the New Testament, Jesus said in the Beatitudes ~ Blessed are the poor, for their’s is the kingdom of Heaven. Also it was said that in the homeless, the hungry, and the naked that God was there, God was with them.I believe that one reason why Mother Teresa helped, served, and healed these people was that she too would be closer to God. If I were to ever meet Mother Teresa I would want to learn her passion for serving God this way.
My all time hero! Some day in heaven I’ll meet her! What an unbelievable person. One of the greatest of all time! I wish I had the discipline to be like her.
I admire Mother Teresa because she is the type of person I would like to be. Loved unconditonally and tried to make the world a better place.
“I’m not going to pray for success. I ask for faithfulness.” -Mother Teresa
