Star of MAS*H, West Wing, much more… recently published a memoir Never Have Your Dog Stuffed(2005). He also wrote and directed MASH episodes. He’s been in several movies also. Alan Alda is a great actor with a great wit.
Hi, I am a MASH believer. Probably, will be till I die. I blogged about MASH and Hawkeye on my blog recently. He is not just another actor. :-)Seen 11 seasons, bought the book, bought the e-book, found fellow fans the world over. Hmm.
Not only is Alan Alda a fabulous actor, writer, director and activist. I highly respect his devotion to his wife and family of these many years while taking part in his chosen field. When I watch MASH or see him on Broadway in, ex., ART or Jake’s Women, I then apply Mr. Alda’s example of loyalty, responsibility and confidence in all aspects of his public life. He has helped me, along with my own strong marriage, explain these simple yet important concepts to my teenager. Thank you, Mr. Alda.

My son and I are huge fans of MAS*H. We are waiting for the final season to come out on DVD. My son has no idea how the series ends and is very eager to find out. November is still so far away…..
