What’s not to admire? She’s a woman right out there on the edges of research in neurochemisty/neurobiology, and changing the way we think about emotions, intuition, and our subconscious.
Brilliant woman, brilliant work. I’d definitely like to have coffee with her someday.
Aside from being brilliant (opiate receptor discovery), she did not sit quietly when the male dominated research field decided to ignore her accomplishments. Her courage is inspiring. To shake her hand would be such an honour.
