Jim Brickman: The Disney Songbook introduces audiences to the uplifting “I’m Amazed” featuring the vocals of country recording artist Lila McCann and the soaringly romantic “Beautiful,” co-written by Jim and performed by stage and Emmy-nominated TV star Wayne Brady. The inspiration for “Beautiful” was this year’s first-time-ever DVD release of the beloved Disney original animated feature Cinderella.
Other artistic collaborations on Jim Brickman: The Disney Songbook are equally magical, including R&B artist Kimberley Locke’s emotional performance of the heartfelt “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes” and the touching ballad “Baby Mine,” which is given a lyrical interpretation by Kassie DePaiva, the popular star of ABC-TV’s One Life To Live. The fast-rising country music star Josh Gracin puts a hilariously bouncy spin on one of Disney’s most memorable songs from Dumbo, the charming “When I See an Elephant Fly.”
This exciting new CD will be featured in Jim Brickman’s third PBS musical special, Jim Brickman at the Magic Kingdom: The Disney Songbook, premiering November 2005 and airing through the end of the year.
