Why I admire Laura Thompson
Not only is she smart, witty, very funny, and an HP fan, she single-handedly brings balance to her MuggleCast Co-Host’s boyish insanity.
But most importantly of all…she is the co-founder of OperationSudan.Org, a site that addresses the huge need of the people of Darfur and the other regions of Sudan and is helping to raise awareness of the atrocity that is being so overlooked.
I’ve written entries on this before, but this is still just as true as it always has been: The people of Sudan need our help. No one is too small to do something and our inaction is allowing the fires of hate to devastate and destroy, unchecked.
I admire anyone with the strength to stand up and do something about it.
