Duncan Sheik (placeholder)

Duncan’s first single was released when I was 16 almost 17. I have been in love with his music since. The song I first heard was Barely Breathing and since hearing the rest of his songs it has fallen to like number 20 on my favorites. He just has such a way with words that you feel what he feels. He sings about longing and love lost from first hand and you can tell.

I was lucky enough to meet him last year. It was the second concert I had ever been too (both have been his) and I caught up with him after the show. He was nice enough to actually chat with me let alone give me his autograph and take a picture with me. He’s completely laid back and not arrogant.

Few years ago i saw the last twenty seconds of a very amazing song on MTv. The singer was Duncan Sheik, the song Barely Breathing.
Three years ago i listened his first cd and found out why i was so impressed when i saw his video on tv for the first time. He’s great and the lyrics makes me realise how i wanted to write those before, with the same passion and feeling.
Duncan Sheik is for lovers, for sure.

I really relate to his music. I’d always heard “Barely Breathing” on the radio, but a coworker/friend of mine turned me on to more of his music about four years ago. I have two cd’s and I want to get his most recent. He inspires creativity within me. I feel alive. He doesn’t make a bad song. The other day I heard an interview with him and honestly, I just sprawled out in my chair and zoned out to his voice. He’s just so great. I’m sorry I missed the last in store performance he did.
