He has a superb talent. His band Opeth and music’s include unique blend of melodic and progressive elements.
And all songs are masterpieces.
I’ve great respect for Mikael Åkerfeldt and Opeth.
Mikael is one of the most humble guys I’ve met. It was shocking for someone that famous to be that nice. I was in awe talking to him, and he seemed genuinely interested in what I was saying, which was really amazing.
I saw Mike before a concert during a signing session. I must say, he is how he sounds like. Unfortunately time is always short when u spend it with your heroes, but i’m looking forward to meet him again, and maybe a longer talk next time.
