How I met Yann Martel
I met him at a book signing and he remembered me as I was a big fan of life of Pi and interviewed him when he won the booker prize for it. I had written to his PR company a year before it won the award to say how much I loved the book, so was granted an interview. I still keep in touch with him, very time to time via email
Why I want to meet Yann Martel
To tell him that I liked his Pi story the best when I thought it was creative non-fiction. Yes, I am 5 years old. (Sigh.)
