This past summer (2006) my family and I vacationed in NYC and saw “The Odd Couple,” starring Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane. We waited outside the stage door for an hour in the pouring rain just to get his signature, and it paid off. Matthew was very shy and quiet, and a group of girls said something like “Look how cute he is!” and he looked at them like they were the biggest freaks in the world. He was awesome.

My uncle bumped right into Matthew Broderick. My uncle didn’t even know who he was and was just apologizing asking if he was okay etc. Then I realized it was actually, Matthew Broderick. I couldn’t get his autograph but he did give me a hug! :D

Why I want to meet Matthew Broderick

I want to meet him because nnearly every day I am told how much I look like him. Someday I want to meet him in an elevator and say “Has anyone ever told you that you look just like me?” “No?” “Well they tell me I look like you every day…”
