My teenage years can be described in one word…”Manilove”. From my hat, to my satin One Voice jacket, to my shoe strings…I was one big walking “Manilover”. Can anyone else relate to that???

Why I want to meet Barry Manilow

I’ve known his songs for more than 15 years now…His songs accompanied me through some of my lowest teens moments. These days I listen to his songs when I want to feel nostalgic or just wanted to relax…I want to meet him because I want to thank him for all the beautiful songs that he sings…..

How I met Barry Manilow

PLATINUM PACKAGE HERE IN JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA. ALL WHO “DONATED” WERE TREATED LIKE GOLD FROM THE STILETTO STAFF. FRONT ROW SEATING AND VIP RECEPTION AFTER THE CONCERT. MY TURN WITH BARRY WAS SURREAL AND UNFORTUNATELY :( SHORT LIVED! GOT ABOUT 15 MINUTES WITH JUST ME AND HIM. TRIED TO MAKE SURE HE UNDERSTOOD HOW MUCH HIS TALENT AND MUISICALITY HAS MEANT TO NOT ONLY ME BUT OTHER PEOPLE AND THANKED HIM FOR PUTTING UP WITH US FOR ALL THESE YEARS! “FANILOWS”

How I met Barry Manilow

I was backstage at the opening of the pacific ampitheatre in irvine and barry was christening it, somehow, me and my friend Steve wandered back to the backstage area and just walked right in where Barry shook our hands and chatted, asked how we liked the show and offered some drinks. They then, ( the Investors of the theatre) wanted a photo of the opening night with Barry and the investors, so I stepped right into the photo with barry, and somewhere there is a pic of me and barry and my friend steve with all the investors of the Pacific Amp. hanging in some board room lol..
Good times nice cute and very tall Barry was super nice. Another nice jewish boy!!

How I met Barry Manilow

Mr. Manilow was doing a concert in Chicago and needed a back ground choir for his finale performance “I write the Songs” and his Encore performance “Let Freedom Ring”. I was fortunate enough to perform with him. He would always end with “Mandy”, the audience going wild…and he acts like the show is over. Then runs back on stage and says, “Almost forgot one” and sits on the piano and plays the Intro to “I Write the Songs.” It was such exhilerating pandemonium! I loved it and it remains one of my favorite lifetime memories.
