I met him at an autograph signing in NY a few years back. I got bum-rushed to the front of the line cause I snuck in the side door to see who everyone was making a big deal about. & It was him, I stayed and talked to him for about 20-30 minutes even though his security was telling me and my friend to move along, he told them to leave us alone & just talked to us. about wrestling and mostly his family, he was a really sweet guy.
I really didn’t meet Foley, but my sister did. She knew I would appreciate an autograph from ol Cactus Jack. She hated wrestling, and still does, so this was pretty big of her to do.
Five minutes later, I had a phone call from her telling me everything that happened.
From what I was told, she kept calling him “NICK Foley”. And she asked Foley if she could get me a free copy of “Tietam Brown”.
Other than that, she said Foley was nice.
I love my sister.
Once again, I “met” Mick Foley when I saw him walking down the street one day and I said “hi” and told him I was a fan and then kept walking.
I would like to meet him for real sometime.
