How I met De La Soul
My friends came down to Gainesville to hang out with me. We were deciding on a place to eat and Jojo or someone suggested we go eat at Dennys.. Ugh I hate Dennys.. terrible service, cold food… Anyhow, I didn’t take into consideration that De La Soul was in town performing and that the Dennys was part of a hotel. We’re just sitting there goofing off and Juan goes ”Oh My GOsh!! It’s De La Soul!” Then we got photos with them and one of them signed his autograph for me. Juan was begging me, “Oh please oh please can I have it? They’re my favorite group!” So I just gave it to him.
