I met him at the stage door when I saw him in ‘Our Town’ with Alan Alda. He was fairly unknown then, Dead poet’s had just come out and he signed my programme and asked me if I liked the play and I told him it was the first time in years that I had seen a play, which he was pleased about and it actually got me back into going on a regular basis. Very nice and friendly guy
