A story about Dalai Lama
he’s smart and media savvy. he knows precisely how to behave in the world stage.

I find the Dalai Lama an amazing person, leading his people from excile, and still showing so much compassion even for a Chinese government that is basically totally ignorant and evil. I’ve heard him speak live and would love to meet him to be close to such an enlightened person.
basically the only reason why is because my pet who is also a comunity pet has a name very simalar to yours…. her name is Dolly Llama… she’s beautiful!!!
Another man of peace (there are quite a few if we look and remain aware). I would like to sit and chat with this man and hear the sound of his laughter… I probably will hear the laughter when I go to see him in May. I believe it will be quite an experience .. :)
I think he is a strong, peaceful, tranquil, political, fascinating man. I have always had a fascination with this man, with Buddhism and the strength and jovial spirit of Buddhist monks.
many years ago when i lived in Melbourne i happened to walk past the state library when i noticed a whole lot of people outside, obviously waiting for someone.
just as i passed this car pulls up and the Dalai Lama emerged. i was instantly taken by his charisma and persona and followed him into the library to hear him speak.
i would love to meet him again, one on one… just sit with him in silence.
for me the way that Dalai Lama sees life is very important, I admire him, how he can in this world, of materialism and money interests, and how people can harm each other, for nothing that worries me
very much. I know that, I have to work in order to be able to subsist in this life, however, I ask myself, why can’t we live our live in a more ecological way. I am always looking for inner peace in my actions like reading studying, etc.
The Dali Lama visited Emory university in Atlanta in October and we had the chance to see him and hear him speak. I came away feeling that he is a person very dedicated to his faith, the traditions of his country and people, and the welfare of people everywhere. He spoke about peace and unity in very simple and accessable ways, and with wit and humor. I consider it well worth the experience.
