I also met Andrew Bird whilst at ACL! This beautiful man is even more beautiful in person and was soo polite even though he was clearly exhausted! He’s also quite introverted – it’s cute.

How I met Andrew Bird
I met him after a concert and I was soo nervous! I walked up to him, shook his hand, and thanked him for a great show. He was really nice and quiet. Love that guy.
The last time I saw Andrew Bird
I was running his merchandise stall yesterday in London.
He is a really lovely guy and his music is fantastic. His solo shows are over far too quickly for me (I just get totally lost in the music) and his music always manage to get the hair on the back of my neck to stand on end.

Jed Gilchrist. But I met him in Ames, IA. And he’s very shy, and was drinking coffee and eating a bagel, which I interrupted by shyly saying “Mr. Bird”...

Why I admire Andrew Bird
He is so talented, and is one of those singers that you believe you’ve only heard of and makes you feel warm inside when you listen to his music. 8)
