How I met Hugh Panaro
I met Hugh Panaro at the stage door of Lestat in New York City this past May. Two times actually. He was incredibly nice and funny and an all-around amazing person.
The first time was after an evening performance and at that time all I got to do was get his autograph and tell him how much I enjoyed his performance and the show.
The second and next day my friend that was in the city with me and I had made signs that said “Go See Lestat” and we wore them around Times Square trying to help promote the show. After seeing the afternoon performance that day we went to the stage door again to see him and when we showed him the signs he amazed and really pleased. He autographed them and got our picture and we got the chance to talk with him for a few minutes.
All in all, it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life and I’m totally looking forward to the chance of seeing Hugh perform again next month in Company in Seattle.
